Rarely does a band come along with youthful exuberance and unbridled passion but also the polished sound of seasoned professionals.
Too often when the cream rises to the top it is curdled somewhat by the inflated egos and unrealistic expectations that come with years of fighting for that elusive taste. Not so these boys.
Wizard Rose, hailing from Brisbane, Queensland, have all of the untapped potential of a band hungry for more but coupled with a collective average age of just 21 and with the musical knowledge and influence of bands generations older deliver a unique blend of hard rock infused with progressive elements neatly wrapped into a parcel heavily influenced by blues-rock and even folk metal.
They are a musical force unto themselves that bely their obvious youth to produce a sound that harks back to - without emulating - the era that gave birth to such bands as Led Zeppelin, Velvet Underground and Rush.
Their sound is as much their own as it is a musical homage to the greats of the industry, with a daring and impulse that transgresses musical boundaries.
With each member currently studying and perfecting their art at JMC Academy & QUT, the sky is literally the limit for Wizard Rose who can only get better with age.
To the truly gifted, music is in the blood and the four young men that form Wizard Rose bleed as much as breath their art.

Recording of the First Album
Recording Wizard Rose - Wizard Roses First Album took them only 40 hours in total to record. Recording over several dates in the months of December 2018 & early January 2019.
